Amit Jain joined L’Oréal India as Managing Director in August 2018 with over 30 years of experience across the FMCG, Retail and Media & Entertainment sectors. At L’Oréal, Amit is responsible for driving the company’s growth, operations and people strategy across India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Nepal. Prior to L’Oréal, Amit served as the Managing Director of AkzoNobel India for four years, before being appointed Managing Director for the AkzoNobel Decorative Business for North & West Europe and Non-Executive Director on the Board of AkzoNobel India consequently. Amit started his career with ICI India, where he managed a diverse set of responsibilities within sales & marketing. He subsequently served in business leadership roles with Coca-Cola and Viacom & MTV across Asia. He has a Master’s in Business Administration from the Faculty of Management Studies (FMS); and completed an Advanced Management Program from the Wharton Business School. Amit supports wildlife conservation and literacy for underprivileged children.
