Suvamoy Roy Choudhury is the Chief Human Resource Officer of Vodafone Idea Limited, India’s largest telecom service provider, effective 31st August 2018. A member of the National Leadership Team, Suvamoy is responsible for shaping the people strategy and building the employment brand of the organization. Prior to his present role, Suvamoy was Director–Human Resources at Vodafone India Limited. Having worked across geographies and industry segments in different verticals of the Human Resource Function, Suvamoy carries rich and varied experience of three decades. He has held leadership positions with marquee organizations including ICI India, Motorola, Baxter Healthcare and Reckitt Benckiser. He has successfully undertaken several assignments across the Asia Pacific Region. Suvamoy is an alumnus of Presidency College, Kolkata and the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai.
