Purbani is currently Academic Manager for the Corporate Training team for British Council, India, and she manages a large, geographically dispersed team of over 40 British Council teachers. She has a master’s degree in English Literature, a DELTA which is a Cambridge Diploma in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. Purbani started her teaching career in the year 2014 in Centre of English Studies, Leeds, UK where her learners were from various parts of the world. She joined the British Council in 2015 and has ever since been developing her skills among the top professionals in English Teaching and management, for both B2C and B2B. She specialises in communication and soft skills training and has delivered training to corporate and other organisations. Purbani is an experienced facilitator, delivering both face-to-face and online programmes in written and spoken communication skills. Outside work, Purbani is also an artist, illustrator and muralist.
